ABOUT US
The original dealership for Freightliner Trucks was located on old Highway 10 approximately 1.5 miles West of Mandan, ND in a building that was originally built as a truck stop. The dealership was originally named Johnson White Truck.
In the late 1960's, the dealership was moved into a new facility located at 2507 Railroad Ave, Bismarck, ND. In the 1970's, ownership of the dealership changed along with the name. Johnson White Truck was changed to Bismarck White Truck. Some years later the company name was changed to Trucks of Bismarck, Inc.
In the 1970's, the facility on Railroad Ave was added onto almost doubling the size of the original building. Later, land and buildings to the East and West of the original building were purchased because of the increase in the dealership's business.
During the 1980's and 1990's an industrial area developed in the Northeast section of Bismarck and trucking firms and truck support services began moving into that area. In 1994, land was purchased in this developing area for building a new, modern truck repair facility.
On March 15, 1996, Trucks of Bismarck opened their doors for business in their new, expanded facility. In keeping with their trucking customer's service requirements, Trucks of Bismarck increased staff and extended their hours of operation a short time later.
